- The Virginia Commonwealth University logotype and bar elements must appear on the front of any publication, including brochures, newsletters, posters and banners. The university’s logotype and bar element also must be used on all organizational Web home and sublevel pages and be visible on the initial load for an 800x600 screen. - The integrity of the graphic elements must be maintained in publications and on Web sites. No changes may be made to their design, proportion, typeface or other attributes without approval from the University Communications Review Committee.
- Graphic elements incorporating the VCU Identity (logotype and bar elements) can be developed for schools, departments, centers, etc. to be used on documents, publications, announcements, biographical references, bookstore items, signage, equipment, uniforms and patches, Web sites, etc. but must be approved by the University Communications Review Committee prior to use.
- Publications that promote programs and/or services for VCU or VCU Medical Center must include this phrase: “an equal opportunity/affirmative action university.”
- Publications that promote programs and/or services for VCU Health System must include this phrase: “an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.”
